About Rand Maintenance Services

Rand Maintenance Services (RMS) is a local business established by Michael in 2014, catering to the needs of clients in Newman and surrounding Pilbara regions, Port Hedland, and now Perth.

Michael started the business working alone from his van. He was passionate about providing a great service at a competitive price for the community where he lived, and that is how it started.

Safety Policy

Rand Maintenance Services Safety Policy objectives are:

  • To ensure all work carried out by employees is based on the following principles:

    • full knowledge of the hazards to which they are being exposed

  • To ensure that all Rand Maintenance Services employees and sub-contractors working on our behalf have the appropriate training to protect themselves from occupational illness or injury

RMS adopts a continually improving Environmental Management System (EMS) which conforms to the ISO 14001 Standard requirements. RMS ensures the provision of appropriate training and information to all employees to minimise the impact on the environment and to prevent pollution in any form. In the event of an environmental incident, RMS will act promptly and responsibly to correct incidents or conditions that endanger the environment and inform those who may be affected including the regulatory bodies.

Energy Minimising Program

RMS operations realises the need to manage the energy resources responsibly in a manner that reduces or limits the environmental footprint left behind.

In addressing this statement, RMS will where practicable:

  • Employ best practice in energy efficient design, the selection and sizing of plant and equipment, systems and other energy infrastructure
  • Maintain and manage all plant and equipment systems in such a way as to minimise energy wastage
  • Promote awareness of the responsibilities for energy conservation to RMS employees & sub-contractors
  • Strive to procure, distribute and maintain energy resources at the lowest cost while addressing the items above
